Probably your average cat. Stone's light brown fur is common among feral cats, as well as the darker stripes running along her body. On her chest, paws, and tailtip are white patches, giving her an innocent, kittenish look. Her body is long and slim, as are her legs, her tail, and her neck. She has narrow shoulders, and her hips are slim as well. Stone's large, round eyes are the gray colour that gave her her name.
Personality
Stone is not the smartest she around. She often puts her trust into those who do not deserve it -- mainly, every cat she meets. She does not believe that there is dishonesty in the world, that there are some cats who just don't like being good, who know enough that they'll take advantage of her. She knows that some cats have been killed by other cats, sometimes even that pretend to be close to them, but her explanation is, "They must have had a really good reason." She knows nothing of her old mate's death, only that he died, so she holds nothing against her new mate, Longclaw.
Naive, that could describe this trusting little she. It is her naiveness that makes Stone think every cat in the world is good, and it was her naiveness that brought her to love the one who killed her mate. Overall you could say that Stone is...well, "dumb."
History
Oak and White were madly in love. They weren’t young, and weren’t old. He was a brown tabby tom, and she was a snowy-coloured she-cat. Her second litter consisted of only one kit, a little tabby and white she. Her eyes were as gray as stone, and so that is exactly what they called her: Stone.
Stone grew up rather normally. White taught her how to hunt and stalk, and Oak taught her many fighting moves. Other cats from the colony helped with her training, and often other parents would join them with their own kits. Her mother’s friend, Night, often brought her son Mud onto hunting excursions, and as Mud’s father Birch was Oak’s best friend, Stone saw him in fighting sessions, too. Over time, the two became the best of friends. By her twentieth moon she was pregnant with his kits. She had them by her twenty-second, and named them Rain, Leaf, Flame, and Dapple.
It was only moons later that a rogue, exiled from StormClan, came to the colony. He was called Longclaw, and was quickly captivated by Stone. As he killed Mud to win Stone over, Rain saw. Longclaw silenced the young cat with threats.
He won Stone over quickly, but before he could father kits with her, he heard Rain telling stories to her siblings and friends, of betrayal and murder. He was enraged, and to forcefully silence her he killed her sister and best friend, Dapple. Rain fled the colony. It wasn’t until Stone was thirty-six moons old that she was pregnant with Longclaw’s kits.
A few moons later, three kits were born. One, Longclaw convinced Stone to call Star. Stone did not realize that it was in mockery of StarClan. The others were Daze and Hawk.
