Age: Twenty-two moons. Rank: Colony cat. Gender: She-cat. Appearance While her name wasn't truly for her pelt, but for Longclaw's - well, revenge and pleasure, Star does resemble a night sky. Her short, fine coat is pure ebony-coloured, and the fur grows slightly longer and fluffier on the backs of her legs and on her tail. Flecking her pelt are small white dots, looking just like little stars. Star's build is slender and she appears frail, however she is lean and strong enough that she won't collapse under a mouse's weight. Her legs are long and slim, as is her graceful tail. However, her long legs and tail don't make her any bigger than an eight-moon-old kit - she is tiny, so tiny that many cats think she should still be with her mother all of the time. Her large eyes are a bright, electric yellow. Personality Star is not nearly as trusting as her mother, Stone, and she is much more wary of strangers. But once a cat is close to her they have her trust for life, unless of course they hurt her deeply. It actually takes a lot to hurt Star's feelings, because she's quite a tomboy. She's bouncy and fun, but she tends to like to be around the tomcats her age rather than the she-cats. While she's not trusting, Star definitely can talk. She will sometimes say something that would hurt another cat's feelings without thinking about what's coming out of her mouth, and she doesn't think about whether it would hurt her, because it most likely wouldn't. When she's with her tom-friends, she doesn't think that any one of them might end up being her mate some day. When she makes a new tom-friend, she doesn't think about that. Star thinks, "Hey, great, another cat to attack." She still likes to scuffle around in playfights, even at twenty-two moons. History Star was born to a loner and a rogue. Stone had strong LittleClan heritage, but of course as a colony cat she had RedClan and thatotherClan mixed in as well. Longclaw, however, was purely StormClan, exiled into roguehood. After four moons of being the mother of Mud's kits, Stone was happy. But her daughter Rain witnessed the murder of her own father, by none other than Longclaw. Longclaw fathered Stone's second litter. In it was Star. Star had two siblings, a sister called Daze and a brother called Hawk. The three grew up normally, as any colony kit would. Except Rain and her siblings. She proved to be significantly less trusting than her mother, however, she never suspected her father of anything. Her father? Kill another cat? Growing up normally wasn't quite the same when your father was a rogue instead of a part of the colony. Of course, Longclaw was now considered a part of the colony, but he still was not the same as a father born and raised there. Star loved Longclaw. She had no idea he chose her name to mock his ancestors. She thought it was his idea to name her "Star" because she was his little star.
